Once a hen gets in the habit of eating her own eggs, it is a very hard habit to break. But if you have a chicken who is eating her own eggs, here's one way to try and break the habit.

Take an egg from the nest of the offending hen inside to your house. Drill holes into both ends of the egg, and blow the insides of the egg into a bowl. Add a health mixture amount of Tabasco sauce to the egg mixture and mix it up completely. Seal up one of the holes in the egg with wax. Once the wax cools, put the egg mixture back into the shell using the other hole. Once the egg is full, seal the remaining hole with wax.

Once you have your pepper-bomb egg, put it back into the nest of the hen who is eating her own eggs. When she eats this one, she'll get an unpleasant surprise. You may need to do this a couple times to completely break the habit, but stick with it and it'll work.
