Keeping mosquitoes away

If you happen to run out of bug spray at home and you are being attacked by mosquitoes, try using a dryer sheet. Just take a dryer sheet and rub it on your exposed skin. When done, keep the dryer sheet in your pocket so that you can reuse again later. I've found that this method is not as effective as DEET at keeping away mosquitoes, but it is somewhat effective and can be used in a pinch. If anything, it's certainly safer, especially for kids, than using DEET.
