Nuclear war survival skills
If you want to know how to survive a nuclear war, what better book than "Nuclear War Survival Skills"? This isn't some nut-job book, the book was originally created by Oak Ridge National Library, so the authors actually might know what they are talking about.
While the book is free, the navigation on the site is horrible. If you are wondering how to get the "next page" in the book, use the navigation on the left side of the screen.
If you ever really, really need this book, then it's safe to assume that there has been a nuclear bomb, if not war, and so I doubt you'll be on the internet looking up how to survive at that point. If you really want to survive a nuclear war, seems like it'd be a good idea to print this book out ahead of time. :)
The book offers chapters on how to build quick fallout shelters, communications, detecting radiation and how to avoid getting sickened by it, how to get food and water, and perhaps most importantly the minimum preparation prior to a nuclear event.
