Image stabilization in iMovie '09

One of the best new features in iMovie '09 is image stabilization. It can actually take out shakiness from your video. It does this by zooming in slightly and then movie the center of the image around such that shaking in the camera is removed. It's incredible how well it works... it's slow as hell, but the results are great. If you're thinking of upgrading to iMovie '09, this feature alone makes it worth it in my book.
