Speed up Adobe Photoshop load time
A lot of the start-up time delay for Adobe Photoshop is related to the loading of the many, many plug-ins that Photoshop makes use of. So one easy way to speed up the load time when Adobe Photoshop starts is by disabling plug-ins that you aren't using.
What makes this easy is a small app called Photoshop SpeedUp that gives you a nice interface for controlling which plug-ins are loaded on startup. It makes it easy to get rid of stuff you are not using, and it's easy to reverse your changes. And the app is free. If you're tired of the slow startup time of Photoshop, this is an easy way to fix that problem.
The app can be found at http://www.hiren.info/downloads/freeware-tools/2. There are a bunch of apps listed on this page. You need to scroll down almost to the bottom to find Photoshop SpeedUp 1.0 which is the one you want.
