Cleaning up new PCs

The worst part about buying a new Windows PC is that you have to spend several hours removing all of the stuff that gets installed at the factory. Everyone's trying to get on the desktop. So when you get a new computer, it's filled with crap.

PC Decrapifier (http://www.pcdecrapifier.com/home) helps solve this problem. It's a free app that you can download and run that removes all of the crap that manufacturers pre-install at the factory (what they refer to as Craplications). It makes it a lot easier to get your new PC into the pristine clean state you'd hope it'd be in when you got it since it's brand new.
