Creating a screenshot of cells in Excel 2007

Microsoft Excel 2007 offers a cool feature that allows you to create a screenshot of cells in the spreadsheet. This is nice for sharing pieces of information without giving away the whole pie, and it's easier than creating a screen grab since you can specify exactly the cells you want in the image.

To create a screenshot in this manner in Excel 2007, first select the cells that you want to use in creating the screen shot. Then go to the Home tab and select the drop down menu in under the Paste button. Once of the options in this menu is As Picture, choose that and then select Copy as Picture... in the menu that opens to the side.

This will pop up a window with some options. In the Appearance section, choose "As shown on screen" and in the "Format" section select Bitmap. You can then select the OK button. When you do, the screen shot image will be created and put onto your clipboard. You can then paste it into other applications like email.
