Turn on the "No Fail" mode in Rock Band 2
My 5-year old really like playing Rock Band 2. The problem is he's no good, so he ends up failing every song. And this doesn't make him happy. I found out you can actually set up Rock Band 2 so that you never fail and you always get to play the entire song... even if you're playing like a 5 year old.
To set this up go to the Extras menu and select Modify Game. Once there you'll see the option to turn on the No-Fail mode.
