Saving all images on a web page
If you are using Firefox, you can quickly save all of the images used on a web page without having to use any fancy plug-ins. There are two ways you can do this.
Method 1
- Right-click on the web page and select Save Page As...
- Enter a name to save the page under. Make sure that at the bottom of the save dialog, where it asks about Save As:, the Web Page, complete option is selected.
- Once saved, a new directory will be created. The name will the name entered in the save dialog, with _files appended to it. In that directory you'll find all the images from the web page saved. But they'll be mixed in with a bunch of other files. If you want just the images, go on to Method 2.
Method 2
- Right-click on the web page and select View Page Info.
- Click on the Media tab.
- Select all of the media shown with a type of Image.
- Click the Save As... button.
- I'd recommend saving into an empty folder. Once the save completes, you'll have all the images for the web page.
