Remembering email attachments in Mac Mail
Both GMail and Outlook have features that can be enabled so that you don't accidentally send an email that is supposed to have an attachment without actually including the attachment:

Now someone has created a plug-in for Mac Mail so that it can have this same functionality. You can find it at
http://www.bazza.com/~eaganj/weblog/code/mail-plugin/
Once installed it works by looking in your email for text that refers to an attachment. If it sees such text and it finds that there is no attachment associated with the email, it gives you a warning. You can either skip the warning and send your email anyway, or you can pull it back and add the attachment.
