Correct angle for ladders

One way to improve ladder safety is to make sure the angle of the ladder is correct. The correct angle for a ladder is 75 degrees and there is an easy way to check if the angle is correct. Once you think the ladder is close to the correct angle, stand on the lowest rung of the ladder and while standing up straight, put your arms out straight in front of you. If the angle of the ladder is correct your hands should be just to the rungs of the ladder. If not, adjust the angle to get it correct.
