Adding AutoText on the Blackberry Storm
On the Blackberry Storm, you can use AutoText to speed up your typing of long words that you type often. With AutoText, you can create known abbreviations or shortcuts that will get expanded to full text after you complete the word by hitting the Space key.
To create your own AutoText entries get to the device options and select AutoText. Press the Menu button and select New.
You can then enter your abbreviation in the Replace field and the full text that it expands into in the With field. You can also use macros in the With field (click Menu then select Insert Macro) if you want to enter things like the current date or time.
To save your entry, hit the Menu button and select Save.
Now when you type, whenever you enter the text in you Replace field, it'll get expanded to become the text you entered in the With field.
