Saving searches in Windows XP
When you perform a search on your computer in Windows XP, you can save the search so that in the future you don't have to re-enter all of the search criteria. If you do complicated searches for files, this can be a real time saver.
After you run a search, select File -> Save Search from the menu bar in the search window. It'll ask you to give the search a file name, and also a location where you want to save the search. Changes these as needed.
Once your search is saved you can run the search by double-clicking on the saved search. This will open the search dialog and pre-fill all of the search criteria that you had entered previously.
