Bypass the RapidShare download wait

RapidShare is a service that allows you to share files with others; you can upload files to there service, send out links, and then others can download the files. But if you are downloading a file from RapidShare and you are not a registered member, you'll be forced to wait 45 seconds before the download begins while they try to convince you to become a member. This 45 second wait can be bypassed rather easily.

Click on the download link that is sent to you and get to the RapidShare site. Once they tell you that you have to wait 45 seconds and the counter starts, copy this into the address bar of your browser and press Enter:

You'll get a javascript alert panel, click OK and your download will start immediately.

i wouldn't mind waiting 45 seconds. i get told that i have to wait several hours... and your suggestion doesn't help that at all. any suggestions
