Using shortcodes in WordPress

If you find yourself doing the same thing over and over in your WordPress blog, you should consider using Shortcodes. Shortcodes were introduced in WordPress 2.5 and they allow you to write short snippets of PHP code that you can call throughout your blog, even in posts. The best tutorial I've run across is at: http://xavisys.com/2008/04/wordpress-25-shortcodes/. It'll have you up and running with Shortcodes in your WordPress blog in no time.
