multi-touch maps in iPhoto '09

iPhoto '09 has a new Places feature that lets you see maps of where photos were taken. But even if you have a newer make with a multi-touch trackpad, you can't manipulate the map to zoom and move around using multi-touch gestures. But if you want, you can turn this feature on.

You need to open a terminal window (Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal) and enter this command:

defaults write com.apple.iphoto MapScrollWheel -bool YES

This will enable the multi-touch function for Places in iPhoto '09
