Change arrow behavior in Windows iTunes
The iTunes store arrows in iTunes are a pain since clicking on them accidentally, which always seems to happen to me, means you have to wait for the iTunes music store to load.

So what if you don't want to remove the arrows in the Windows version of iTunes, but you want the behavior that lets you search your own music library? Well, here's what you'll need to do...
You're going to need to edit the iTunesPrefs.xml file, so your first job is to find it. Probably the easiest way to find it is by going to Start -> Search and just searching for the file by now. Once you find the file, open it in your favorite editor.
Find the following lines in the file:
Below these lines add this:
Save the file and then restart iTunes. The arrows will still be there. But when you click on them instead of searching the iTunes music store you'll be searching your own music library.
