Keep cut flowers fresh

To keep cut flowers fresh, do the following.

1) Cut the stems at a 45 degree angle. This provides more area for the stem of the flower to soak up water.

2) Add 1 tablespoons of vinegar, and 1 teaspoon of sugar to each quart of water.

3) Change the water. It's best to change it daily, but you must change it at least every other day.

If you take these steps, you'll find that your cut flowers last much longer.
