Show text on Windows 7 taskbar icons

In Windows 7 the taskbar only shows icons, no text. This makes the taskbar a lot smaller so that more stuff can fit in the taskbar. But if your brain can't handle the missing text, you can add the text back to the icons in the Windows 7 taskbar.

Right-click on an empty section of the taskbar and select Properties from the menu, then click on the Taskbar tab when the panel is shown. Find the setting called Taskbar buttons and change the value in the pulldown to Never combine.

Click the OK button to save your changes. Once you do this you'll get both text and icons in the Windows 7 taskbar
