Create an Effective Network Marketing Pitch
1. It is short. A long pitch is soon forgotten and is often less effective. Three to five sentences is ideal.
2. It is too the point. Get rid of unnecessary words and go right to the heart of what your business is all about.
3. It gives the listener a glimpse into what your business is about without too many details. There is no need to share everything or to try and cram it all in.
4. It asks a question. This can be something for the listener to think about or it can ask them directly or indirectly if they or someone they know is interested in hearing more.
5. It is free of industry jargon. Stay away from words that only those familiar with network marketing would recognize.
6. It is simple and easy to understand. If you are in a nutrition company, this is especially important. You must not use words specific to your product or technical in nature.
7. It is interesting and entertaining. Make the person laugh, or think about what you have said after you have left.
Here are some examples I have used:
I help others create additional income by promoting a natural gourmet candle that makes your home smell wonderful. Who do you know who burns scented candles?
I have a business that I work online from home. Who do you know who might want to learn to work online from home?
I help others reach their dreams and goals by selling a product used in 80% of all homes. Who do you know who would like help reaching their dreams and goals?
