Image resizing in Internet Explorer
Both IE6 and IE7 will attempt to automatically resize images that are too large to fit nicely in your browser window. If you want to change this so that you see the full image resolution by default, here are the steps you need to take.
- From the IE toolbar, select Tools -> Internet Options and then click on the Advanced tab.
- You'll see a long list of options, each with a checkbox. You are looking for the Enable automatic image resizing option which is in the Multimedia section. Find it and uncheck the box next to it.
- Hit the OK button and your change will be saved.
IE will then no longer attempt to automatically resize images to fit in your browser screen.
