Air travel with luggage
If you plan to fly and check in bags, you'll have a much easier time retrieving your bags from the baggage carousel if you put a distinctive, colorful, strap around your bag. This will allow you to more easily spot your bag on the carousel, and it will reduce the chance that someone else will accidentally grab your luggage.
You can by luggage straps at almost any travel store, and they are easy to make too. To make one, just buy nylon webbing and some D-clips that match the size of the webbing (you can get both of these products at a climbing or outdoors store). Thread the webbing into the D-clips and you have a quick and easy luggage strap.
