Killing hung iPhone apps

To kill a hung app on the iPhone or iPod Touch the first step is to try hitting the Home button. If that doesn't work, try hitting the Home button twice quickly. This should bring up your favorites (unless you have customized this behavior) and when your favorites come up, it will kill the hung application.
