If you are traveling by van or RV and need a place to camp for the night, Wal-mart and Sams Club allows free overnight camping. Kmart, Costco, and Flying J truck stops do this as well but Wal-mart is the most popular.

I find the Flying J truck stops the most convient when I am driving highways and on a tight schedule. Walmart never seems to be right off major highways.
