Set the default window size for new projects in Xcode

When you start a new project in Xcode it opens a window that is way too small for any sort of development. The first step in any new project is increasing the size of the Xcode window that gets opened. If you are tired of resetting the windows size every time, there is a trick that lets you set the default window layout for new projects in Xcode.

To do this, open a new project in Xcode. Then arrange/size the window(s) as you want them. Once you are happy and you want to keep this as your default, go up to the menu bar and select Window -> Defaults.... You can then press the Make Layout Default to set your current layout as the default for all new projects.
