Get web information over email
The SnapAsk service makes it easy to get information on your mobile phone via email. If you have a phone with email capability but no web browser, or browsing is slow, this service lets you get information quickly and easily.
All you do to use it is send an email to ask@snapask.com with a command in the Subject line to indicate what you want. Check their site for the latest commands they are supporting. There are a lot of them and they allow you to do things like: get sports scores, stocks, pages from wikipedia, movie times, flight information, and weather reports to name but a few.
