Record video from your Mac iSight camera

If you have a Macbook or an iMac with a built-in iSight camera, you can already take pictures from the camera using PhotoBooth. But did you know that you can also record video from the camera?

That's right, using iRecord (link below), you can record video from your iSight camera quickly, easily, and for free.

You can also go to the File menu of QuickTimePro and choose New Movie Recording

Another site that offers software to do this is at: http://www.mildmanneredindustries.com/iris/. They have some nice features like time-lapse photography and motion detection which takes a picture when someone touches your computer... you can even get email alerts when this happens.
