Deleting text on the Mac

On the Mac when you are deleting text with the Delete key on the keyboard, you can speed things up by holding down the Option key. When the Option key is held down, instead of deleting the character before the cursor, it deletes the entire word before the cursor. This can speed things up rather nicely.
