Skipping floors in an elevator
Many elevators have an "express mode" that is set to be on by default. Using this mode, you can go directly to a given floor ignoring all requests to stop at other floors.
To enter this mode, all you have to do is simultaneously press the Door Close button and the button for the target floor. Unless the person managing the elevator in that building has turned off this feature, you'll then be taken directly to the target floor.
As a courtesy to other riders, please don't do this when there are other people in the elevator going to other floors (unless you really don't like them).
