Using touch screen devices in the cold
Many of the popular new phones and mobile devices, like the iPhone and Blackberry Storm, coming out utilize touch screens. The touch screens are great unless you live in a cold climate and you try to use them with gloves on. Most touch screens just don't register the touch if you are using gloves since the screens need contact to human skin to work.
So naturally someone has developed special gloves that work with touch screens (http://dotsgloves.com/). They work by embedding metal in the finger tips so that when you touch the screen, there is contact made and the screen still works. Haven't gotten my pair yet, but they claim to be scratch-free.
