Reduce silver tarnish
To help reduce the tarnishing of silver, store it in an air-tight container with a desiccant to remove moisture from the air. While they make specialized, and costly, desiccants for this purpose a simple cheap desiccant you can use is chalk. If you store your silver this way, it will greatly reduce the amount of tarnish that builds up on the silver.
