Space exploration from your computer

Celestia is a free cross-platform (Windows, Mac, and Linux) application that lets you explore space from the relative safety of your computer. You can travel through 3-dimensions to explore our solar system, 1000's of other start systems, and you can go beyond our own galaxy. If you have kids, this is a great way to introduce them to the concept of the solar system.
