If you want to maintain the life of your cell phone battery, do not charge it overnight. Even though most cell phones have fairly advanced batteries, leaving the cell phone attached to the charger once the cell phone battery is fully charged will, over time, slowly decrease the amount of charge that the battery can hold.

If you want the battery on your cell phone to last as long as possible, disconnect it from the charger as soon as the battery is fully charged.
