Removing mold and mildew from canvas
If you have mold or mildew on canvas awnings, tents, or other outdoor equipment here's a sure-fire way to clean it up.
First take a vacuum and clean up as much as you can with that. Use a stiff brush to knock the mold and mildew off the canvas as you vacuum.
Once you've vacuumed up as much as you can, mix a cup of liquid Lysol into a gallon of very warm water and scrub the area with this mixture with your stiff brush.
Once it's as clean as you can get it, mix a cup of lemon juice and a cup of salt in another gallon of warm water and rinse the area completely.
This does a great job of cleaning up the mold and mildew and it also stops any further growth.
