Wireless security options for routers

When you get a wireless router, it'll probably have several choices for the type encryption to use. The three main types are: WEP, WPA and WPA2. If you really need security and you plan on using encryption make sure you get a wireless router that has WPA2 encryption. Both WEP and WPA have been broken in the past so neither can provide absolute security if that's what is needed.
