Install Debian on a G1 phone

If you want to start hacking your G1 Android phone, check out this site http://www.saurik.com/id/10 which describes how to install Debian on your G1 phone. The installation of Debian does *not* replace Android, you can still use your phone as you would normally. But once you have Debian on it, you can then run all of the applications that are available in Debian.

This process is not for the faint of as it is rather involved. But they do give the step-by-step instructions that will make this installation work.
