G1 phone status light

On the G1 Android phone there is a status light in the speaker at the very top front part of the phone. Here is what the light color/status indicates:

Solid Green: Battery is charged (while connected to the power adapter).
Solid Red: Battery is charging
Flashing Red: Battery is low
Flashing Green: There are pending notifications

An important thing to note is that the order indicates the priority of the message. So when your G1 phone is connected to the power adapter, you will *never* get a message about pending notifications from this status light, which is kind of a bummer.
