dog foot pain in snow

og would cry and cry when I took him to pee in the winter months. It could be snow or just the freezing sidewalk he would put his feet up and refuse to go. I took him to the vet- $200 later they toldme to put bag balm on his peds. It will harden and strengthen. He hated it and would do it but someone else might like the tip...?

Our dog had a similar problem. We solved it by getting him booties. They are kind of a pain to get on (they lace up like a shoe), but once they are on, they are very effective.
