Considering WisperTel?
Considering WisperTel as your ISP/service provider? The best advice I can give you is to keep on looking. The only reason to use WisperTel is if you have absolutely no other high-speed options - that's the sad state I'm in. If you are considering WisperTel and you have DSL or Cable as an option, choose one of those other options.
The problem with WisperTel is not the speed, it's the reliability of the service. They are constantly going down for short periods of time. If you are trying to use things like VPN, it's almost impossible using WisperTel.
And their customer support sucks!
Don't believe me? If you are considering WisperTel call their support line. You'll be on hold forever and you'll rarely if ever get through. Eventually you'll give up and leave a message. Wait and see how long it takes them to return the call... if they ever even bother.
