limping dog

Recently, my dog had a pretty bad limp. I took her to my vet and nothing was found on her x-rays. She was put on bed rest for a week. Still no improvement. I ended up taking her to a specialist and the x-ray results were inconclusive. Long story short, they wanted to do $3000 surgery to see if they could find anything. I declined and put her on Glucosamine instead. After about 1 1/2 months her limp went away and hasen't been back!!

Our 10 yr old collie/lab mix has had on/off front leg limp for 2-3 years. Comes and goes. Now weather up where we are at is damp etc. After vet visit he says glucose, chondrodine. Just toay I feel a lump in top of her leg just below shoulder. She not happy when I touch it! other leg no lump??? will go back to vet tommorow and insist on better assesment. God....how we love our 3 critters!

dont bank on these ideas, they are mearly a suggestion. If your dog is limping it does, most likely, need to see a doc
