Create free iPhone ringtones
There are a lot of ways to create free ringtones for the iPhone. But most of them are a pain and require special software or a jailbroken iPhone. There is an easier way though.
The Audiok site will allow you to upload a song, or point to an existing song on the internet, and create a ringtone from it that is iPhone compatible. The service is free and it requires no registration. When you get to their site, you'll see an image like so.

To create your own ringtone, you need to click on one of the two links indicated in the image. Once you do that you can specify the section of the song you want to use as a ringtone and you can down load the ringtone for iPhone use or as an MP3 or AMR format for other phones.
