Disable Flip3d in Vista

To get quicker response in Vista you can turn off the Flip3d effect. It looks cool but it takes a lot of resources. So if your computer seems slow, turning this off can help speed up your computer.

Click Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools then click Group Security Policy.

On the left side of the pane go to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Desktop Window Manager.

Check the box next to Do not allow flip3d invocation.

Save your changes and Flip3d will be disabled.
