Rename the recycle bin

If you want to name the Recycle Bin in Windows, here's how to do it.

1 - Go to Start -> Run and type regedit. This will open the registry editor.

2 - Expand the plus sign (+) next to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT, then the (+) next to CSLID, then the (+) next to {645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}. This is all done in the left-hand pane.

3 - In the right-hand pane, there should be a an entry called (Default) with a value of Recycle Bin. Double-click on this entry and you will be able to edit the value. Change it to what you would like the recycle bin to be called.

4 - Restart windows, and the Recycle bin will be renamed to whatever value you entered.
