Make your own fruit leather

Tired of spending money of fruit leather for your kids? You can make your own fruit leather easily. It's cheaper, and you then know that your kids fruit leather only contains fruit. You can even mix different fruits together to find the perfect fruit leather flavor for your kids.

First you'll need fruit. Clean the fruit and get rid of cores/seeds as needed. Then put the fruit in a blender and mix it until it is a fine pulp.

Line a cookie sheet with wax paper and spread out the fruit pulp onto the wax paper. Place the fruit in the oven on a low bake setting (I use 200F on my oven) and allow the mixture to bake with the oven door cracked open slightly to let the moisture escape. Cook until you get something that looks/feels leathery (times vary a lot based on the type of fruit being cooked). Remove the tray from the oven and allow the mixture to cool.

Once you are done you'll have your own homemade fruit leather.
