Open VLC in fullscreen mode by default
When you start VLC media player for watching videos it starts in a non-fullscreen mode. Even if you were last watching your videos in fullscreen. To get VLC to open in fullscreen when you start it here are the steps to take.
From the menu go to 'Tools' and then 'Preferences'.
Once you get the preferences, click the 'Video' button. This'll get you to the 'General Video Settings'.
In there you can check the 'Fullscreen' checkbox.
After you save your changes this will make it so that VLC opens up in fullscreen by default.
