Using the console in Spore you can customize the look of the game. To get to the console type Ctrl + Shift + C. Once you get the console you can use the following commands to change the look of the game:

styleFilter -oilPaint: Gives the game an oil painting look
styleFilter -filmNoir: Gives the game a black and white film noir look
styleFilter -none: Puts things back to normal

After you execute your commands on the console, hit the Esc key to exit the console.
