load previews before playing in itunes 8

Another preference which seems to have disappeared in iTunes 8 is the ability to completely load a preview of a song before it starts playing. If you have a high speed connection, this doesn't really matter. But if you are on a slow connection you really want to load the entire preview first otherwise it keeps starting and stopping and it's really annoying. I guess Apple thinks everyone on the itunes music store has a fast connection.

If you are one of the poor schmoos without a fast enough connection, you can still set iTunes 8 to load the entire preview before it starts playing the song. Open up a terminal windows and run the following command:

defaults write com.apple.iTunes load-complete-preview-before-playing -bool TRUE

You then need to close and restart iTunes. Once you do, previews will load completely *before* they start playing.
