Increasing the number of recent files and projects in Visual Studio

The start page for Visual Studio shows a fairly short list of previously used projects. The past files and projects in the File menu are also pretty short. If you want to increase these numbers, it's pretty easy to do. Just go to Tools -> Options -> Environment -> General and update the limits shown in the panel.
