Fixing an iPhone

My iPhone was randomly giving me messages about an accessory not being compatible with the iPhone. Even though when no accessories were connected to the iPhone. Turns out the problem was dirt and grime building up in the bottom port. There was so much dirt that it was causing intermittent shorts on the connector and this made the iPhone think that something was connected to it. After cleaning out the grime with compressed air, the messages went away and my iPhone was as good as new.
