It has a very powerful drawing tools make font creation easy and it still gives you all of the power you need to make your fonts. You can import images and create fonts off of them so you can create fonts off existing typography, or off of hand writing. You can also correct character mappings, font names, kerning pairs, and validate your fonts. It gives you tools to join contours.
